Scope Definition and Assessment

Serialization solutions can be quite complex, especially for someone not well-versed in IT. Our team of industry experts are ready to help you define the exact solution for your company, and start working towards deployment. The first step defining the scope of the project, and fixing all the variables. It’s followed by a kick-off meeting and after all the details about the project are decided, we perform an on-site information gathering, in order to tweak our software to your specific situation.

The Information Gathering sessions that occur at the deployment site include:

Project Management and Planning

For the duration of the project, a SoftGroup representative is assigned to be the project manager. They will be responsible for coordinating with the client, helping them define their vision & turn it into a detailed plan with a timeline. Then, they make sure that the execution goes according to the initial plan.

The project plan and the timeline is created through Microsoft Project, and usually include:

  • Work breakdown structure (WBS)
  • Staffing and schedule estimates
  • Responsibility assignments
  • Performance reporting
  • Major milestones and target dates
  • Key risks, constraints, assumptions, and planned responses

Implementation Services

The implementation of the solutions is carried out by the SoftGroup team, and follows the plan defined with the help of the client. Each product implementation is different, depending on the customer’s needs, as well as the specifics about their site. The process involves:

  • The SoftGroup team works alongside the customer’s team to ensure seamless installation and integration of the serialization solution
  • SoftGroup works with a team of two to four highly skilled in-house professionals to deliver and install its solution at client’s site
  • The solution is flexible and tailored to the specific needs of the client

Validation Services

The SoftGroup validation services are based on the latest GAMP standards. The document that initiates the process is called the URS (User Specification Document), and it describes the way the software is intended to function. Follows the URS as a checklist, ensuring that every component of the system is intact. In addition, we provide the needed validation documentation, including IQ, OQ and PQ.

Training

To ensure a working system, the client’s operating staff should have some basic knowledge on the software. Depending on the specific case, we offer 2 different training approaches.

1) An expert from SoftGroup trains the shift manager in our client organization, who passes the knowledge along to their team
